Bridging the gap of Uncertainty

Last week my heart was moved to contact one of our pcs lecturer, Ms Azelin. She's a happy-go-lucky lady who love to laugh! Well, I guess I miss UTP more than I care to admit.. :') Today I got to know from her that she is suffering from SLE or "lupus". It's a health condition whereby your immune system attack your healthy cells; which in her case, was her internal organs.

She suffered from it for a long time adey, even when we were taking our pcs class. Nowadays she still teaches, but her condition has worsen to the point where she pop pills into her mouth like candy. Bak kata melayu, macam makan gula2 je. Makan 24/7.

I know there's not much that we can do for her. To those who know her, please remember her in your prayers. Pray that she'll pull it through. There's no cure for lupus, but there are ways to lessen the pain. In her own words, and I quote "I'm actually living in borrowed time".. I am not sure how critical her condition is but what I CAN be sure of is that she's not letting her sickness stop her from living a fruitful life, however short it may be..

She enjoys the company of her students and I believe those in her class last time enjoyed her lectures as well. I love her, and if you do too, please put a kind thought for her health in your prayers. It doesn't matter what you believe in, love transcends all that..
