The sudden inspiration to make my own cheese is due to the fact that ricotta cheese is quite expansive even when purchased in a small container AND i'm baking brownies in the weekend for raya. Though, i doubt the batch would last through the night. :) Anyhoo, a chance to make cheesy version of brownies is just too good to pass.
It's a relatively simple process, there is only one ingredient that is hard to find- kosher salt. If you don't have it (like me), you can substitute it with normal table salt. 1 teaspoon kosher salt = 3/4 teaspoon table salt.
And the rest is history! Once its done (the cheese), I'll post the picture here. ^^
