Salam 24th Ramadhan! Heyya bloggy!!
So fast kan?? It's almost like it was yesterday when I munch my way through sahur ^^ FYI, sometimes i'm the first one to wake up in the family. Haaa...BEAT THAT! :)
It's another week to Raya and there are still so much more to do! We haven't got baju raya done so looks like it'll be last minute shopping mission again ^^ Then there's the kuih raya to attend to. We made lots this year compared to the previous 5 years! I'm not sure whats gotten into our brains but we're baking like there's no tomorrow!
Mum made 4 batches of jem tart (pineapple jam filled cookies) already AND still counting, kaklong has made 6 batches of chocolate chips cookies and I have been helping with ALL. Fuhh...tiring to be me :) Hahahhah!! Okok.. Alright, so I haven't made any cookies specifically. But you know, it's the spirit that counts :)

However, having said that. I did bake 2 cakes over the past 2 months.. Improvement eyh? Hehehhe..^^ My first cake was lemon cake with lemon custard filling. Second cake was...urmm...let's see.. oh yes yes.. It's the chocolate cake I baked for a special occasion. It's nice! (I think) and it's chocolate raspberry cake - so the mild tangy-ness and sweetness of the berry compliments the smooth and delicate flavor of the chocolate. All in all, it wasn't a disappointment :)
