Heyya bloggy!
A couple of weeks back, on a cloudy Wednesday afternoon, I went swimming in utp pool. Thinking back, I'm not sure what made me go alone; the urge to swim was too great and I just felt like I gotta do it.. Anyway, it had just rained not 5 minutes before. In fact, it was still drizzling when I got in. You have no idea how good it felt..when the warm water touches your body on a cold day..it was like getting a hugg :)
I swam roughly a good 30 minutes before for the rain started up again. Not wanting to be strike by lighting (god forbid), I got out and took shelter in front of the changing room. In less than 5 minutes, the weather cleared up. Just like that.. I think the weather man must be having mood swings that day..
So I got back into the pool..Then, it started to drizzle (yet again). By that time, I was too lazy to get my body out of the water so I just stayed in..literally...submerged in the water. That's when I heard the bloop..bloop sound.. At first I thought it was the split splot of the rain above, but the sound got louder and louder. Eventually, I decided to go up to the surface to check it out.

What I saw disturbed me to this very day. A GIANT whirlpool had formed in the middle of the pool! It was growing in size and at that moment, I thought it would swallow me whole. With speed and agility that I never knew I had, I hauled my body out (more like rolling off the side) of the pool. Lemme tell you this, I have never been THAT scared of water in my entire life.
I still dunno what caused it..could be that the pool had automatic water adjustment system whereby it sucks out excess water when it rains.. Could be some weird pool technician playing a prank by switching it on (there was one dude in the maintenance office). OR it could be...a MONSTA.
Lesson learnt here is.. NEVER go swimming alone! Anything happens to you, nobody knows a thing.
